We warmly welcome you to Gyeongbuk Global Exchange Center established as the first global exchange center in Korea to attract excellent international students and promote the global exchange of local governments.

GGEC is Korea’s first global exchange center established by Ministry of Education and Korea Foundation for the Promotion of Private School in accordance with Study Korea Project of Ministry of Education by using the public fund including the central government’s subsidies and the Private School Promotion Fund for the purpose of improving the living conditions of foreign students in Korea.

GGEC established “Gyeongbuk Global Exchange Center LLC” jointly invested by Educational Foundation Yeongnamhakwon and Korea Foundation for the Promotion of Private School emphasizing the public nature in operating a dormitory offering the dormitory service to foreign students at much lower fees than other private dormitories in Korea.

I gladly present GGEC where foreign students studying in universities in Gyeongsan, Gyeongsangbuk Province can live with the hope for happy and bright future in a peaceful environment with fresh air.

With the best and comfortable facilities that can accommodate up to 240 people, GGEC is a safe and comfortable place with opportunities for foreign students to exchange their culture and interests and develop their personalities as well as to live and study.
